Kid Art

This is my daughter's new book that she is writing and illustrating. The title is "My Friend Lydia" and it describes all the activities that they like to do. My daughter is 6 and is creating this book without help - thus the creative spelling.
Since I have been unable to complete any art myself lately (too busy!) I thought this would qualify as appropriate for this blog!

Looks like little E is going to follow in Mom's footsteps. She is off to a great start with her first book! Tell her very nice work!

That is so adorable, your daughter is already showing a lot of talent and creativity (just like her mom!) I like that you're letting her do it all by herself, and the creative spelling adds charm to the bright, fun and colorful pictures. Congratulations to her, and you :-)

Hi Kelly--

I wanted to drop by and say hello! Thank you for your comment on my blog. I have been trying to participate on that fun creative exercise, but I'm doing on my own rhythm, it's very hard to post everyday!
Anyway, I hope all is well with you and your family.

Happy Mother's day!
